Applications in Rehabilitation[edit]

I added a new section in this article that discusses the concept of music and neuroplasticity as well as the application of music in treating impairments caused by brain injury or disorders. I used peer-reviewed journals that are systematic reviews from the last four years, so they should be highly credible and updated sources. I classified the application of music by disease, which may be helpful in tracking information for readers. The diseases I researched on were Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s disease and Dementia. In each subsection, I described common symptoms that are most obvious to individuals who do not have a medical background. I proceeded to talk about the effects of music on these diseases, with references to academic journals.
