ISDN T/As are indeed modems.
RS-232 and USB interfaces may be common on consumer grade devices but V.35 and RS-449 are common on commercial grade devices. Most commercial grade devices have a DB-25 connector and are software selectable for RS-449 or V.35 for electrical standards.
