Navboxes[edit]

Hi @Fleets:, can you please explain the navbox order on this page for me? I don't understand why we start the Brisbane 1992 team, go down to the 2013 USA team and then have the 1988 Brisbane team at the end? Mattlore (talk) 20:36, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Playing in the first side is a tenuous link at best, and is lumped in with the rest of the questionable links such as teams of the decade, century, etc and teams of the year. It does not ride at the front of the bus.Fleets (talk) 20:39, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
We don't have a policy on these and so we do them case by case. In this case I think the current order doesn't make sense and will confuse people. I propose we either reverse the order, ie USA first - then Brisbane 1993, 1992, 1992 and then 1988 last like you suggest or we go back to the other order but condense the Brisbane navboxes so they are hidden. What are your thoughts? Mattlore (talk) 20:45, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That is illogical. Who counts backwards better then they count forwards. That is a truly bizarre proposal. If you are genuine, then I am sorry, but it feels like a massive wind up.Fleets (talk) 20:47, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, so you prefer my other proposal then? Or do you suggest a third way? Mattlore (talk) 20:48, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Status quo. The current almost uniform project standard.Fleets (talk) 20:50, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I'll seek a third opinion then, seeing as we seem to be at an impasse. Mattlore (talk) 20:53, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Well you're suggestions in moving away from the status quo are nothing if not creative.Fleets (talk) 20:54, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

3O Response: My opinion is that it should be in chronological order. It is intuitive. Gbohoadgwwian (talk) 09:00, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I have re-ordered the navboxes per this discussion to place the 1988 box first. Mattlore (talk) 00:48, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
