Removed unsourced statement.[edit]

"However, the WSO did not identify any factual errors in the broadcast"

I have removed this statement, as it conflicts with the source in the article. If some other wp:RS can be found that makes such a statement, it can certainly be re-added.- sinneed (talk) 13:19, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Added some Citation Needed flags and a WHO? flag.[edit]

If these aren't sourced in the next few days I'll cut them to the talk page so they won't be lost, and an interested editor can add them back if they can be sourced.- sinneed (talk) 17:42, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor proceeded to remove the items [1], with wp:BLP as the reason. I won't revert, but I think I only see why part of it would need to be removed as I read wp:BLP... the part about others defending him, for example, seems OK to leave in for a short while waiting interested editors to find a citation. - sinneed (talk) 20:48, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Does this belong at all?[edit]

"Various Sikh websites also attacked the documentary."
OK, some web sites were mad. I don't see any of those as wp:RS and question their use in the article. I am putting on a CN flag, and will cut those sites to the talk page for possible inclusion as external links. This, too, I will cut if it isn't sourced in a few days. The point being that if no wp:RS felt the need to cover the web sites, Wikipedia doesn't either.

Canadian Media's Attack on Sikhs - Part 1(Editorial)
CBC’s Most Defamatory, Fraudulent & Innaccurate Report on Sikhs Ever
Baseless fear mongering by the CBC

Another editor noted that wp:BLP applies, so I cut the statement.- sinneed (talk) 20:50, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Left Wing Politics"???[edit]

Can anyone explain or justify this article's inclusion in the above category? The guy is a reporter, not a politician. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HuntClubJoe (talkcontribs) 18:47, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

retirement and power & politics[edit]

Are you guys sure that Melewski retired from CBC? right now I am watching POwer and POlitics, and guess who's hosting. perhaps it would be more fair to say that he is semi-retired as both from July to mid August and presently (starting Monday), he is acting as a host for Power and POlitics. Rosemary barton left the show to prepare for The National. How could I source his currently being the host for P&p?
