Article Evaluation[edit]

1. Not all facts are appropriately cited. The first section of the article "Heterosexual/Traditional" has zero citations for the descriptions of the terms "male" and "female." Under the section "Tom Identity" there seems to be an unreliable source. A guidebook for Thai luxury spas is used as a citation for a description of a Thai lesbian identity.

2. In the first paragraph of the article there is mention there is a possible break in neutrality. When discussion origin of identity labels the following is written: "oddly use English terms." This statement is not neutral because it introduces the author's opinion.

I didn't really have to edit anything because it looks like you're in a good path. Although I would suggest perhaps changing the title of your article. I think you should think about how someone is trying to do google search about queer related movies from thailand. I understand you are trying to not use LGBTQ for the sake of westernerzing the piece, but its up to you. We are writing in a westernized platform that sorta cater towards the western audience. Im not saying this is a right thing (I honestly dont think it is), but its up for you. Femachisma (talk) 21:54, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Rename[edit]

The article should be renamed to something like Thai LGBT cinema to reflect that LGBT is the standard term on Wikipedia. Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 12:17, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
