Fails WP:NSONGS?

Per WP:NSONGS, chart positions alone are not enough for a song's notability to have a standalone article. "Songs and singles are probably notable if they have been the subject[1] of multiple,[2] non-trivial[3] published works whose sources are independent of the artist and label. The only "non-trivial" source that I'm seeing here is a compilation of the best songs of 2020 so far by Business Insider, which, in my opinion, is far from a reliable source for music-related articles. If there's no further discussion on this, I shall redirect the article to Folklore (Taylor Swift album) within a few days' time. (talk) 16:33, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

Yes, chart positions alone are not enough for an article. But "The 1" is way too notable to not have an article. It reached top-10 in numerous countries worldwide, and is top three most popular songs from the album. And, the article has information on its making and recording, composition, and critic reviews too. So, I don't think the standalone article should be deleted. The article needs expansion, and I'd welcome an "expansion" tag added to the top. I myself will expand the article as well, but I need time. BawinV (talk) 17:36, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
Reaching top 10 does not necessarily mean "way too notable" (cue "If This Was a Movie" from Speak Now or "Jump Then Fall" from Fearless for example). "Its making and recording" and the reviews are those primarily focused on Folklore, the album, and not the song itself (subject of multiple, non-trivial published works). I did a search on Google, and it seems that articles that focus on the music and lyrics of this song is far and few between, which, compared to "The Last Great American Dynasty", is a stark difference. Now that the song has been released as a single, this will be notable enough for a standalone article, (talk) 01:29, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
Agreed. Doggy54321 (talk) 01:31, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
Haha, Taylor said "The 1 rights" as soon as she learnt HĐ was trying to take down its article :P BawinV (talk) 06:03, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

German radio?

I understand it was released in Germany, but I do not know where in the source it says it was released to contemporary hit radio. Am I missing something? Heartfox (talk) 04:49, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
