Wrong Positioning

Was it just me or were Peter and Sarah put in the wrong position. After collecting the clue to direct them to the detour, i thought i seen them positioned as being 1st. i'm not sure what position they should have been at but they were nowere near first--Irishboi 15:17, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Climb Wall

According to TAR 10's site, teams will have to ascend and rappel a wall. It was hard enough for Sarah to do it with a good leg, let alone with a leaking one. They'll be luck to not get eliminated. TeckWiz is 12 yrs oldTalkContribs# of Edits 19:08, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Twist

Did anyone ever notice how Phil says sometimes, "You have both been eliminated from the race"? Could one of the twists be only one person in eliminated? TeckWiz is 12 yrs oldTalkContribs# of Edits 12:32, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

He's said that to basically every eliminated team these past 10 seasons. I don't see why it would be any different this season, but good thought. --HansTAR
I've always thought it would be interesting if they mixed teams up at each pit stop. Take one of the first and one of the last and put them together, etc... You'd probably have to have a season of solo players instead of teams of two, but would make things interesting, for better or worse. Sabalon 01:47, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Marked for elimination

So people viewing articles of each seasons know that this season had a rule change for non elmination legs, I changed the color, as someone probably won't look if they had read the same notes (non elmin, fast forward, yield) on the other seasons' pages. TeckWiz is 12 yrs oldTalkContribs# of Edits 01:29, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Yes, but the penalty has changed over time despite it always being blue: first there was no penalty, then all their cash, then all their cash AND possessions. I'd say keep it blue, myself. Radagast 01:34, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
The colors for the changes in seasons 5-6 and 7-9 should be changed also. TeckWiz is 12 yrs oldTalkContribs# of Edits 01:42, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
I suppose... but we'll quickly run out of colours, especially if things are changed again in future seasons. I'd say use blue to represent 'last place on non-elimination leg', no matter what other rules apply. If a given reader wants to know what rule applied for that season, they can look it up in that season's legend. Radagast 01:52, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
But the reader will have already read the note on another season, and when they see the blue here, they would think it's the same exact thing. TeckWiz is 12 yrs oldTalkContribs# of Edits 11:16, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Purple for those seasons please? -24.92.41.95 02:06, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

City vs Town

May be i'm should not discuss this, but i have to say. A city is a big area, and inside this area include town or small town. However Mamallapuram is a town and not city, and some places list in the past also consists some towns but MIS-list as cities, totally count in infobox. I should say town is not same as city. Can someone give me a good explain? --Aleenf1 05:13, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for raising the point; I'm not certain myself how we're counting cities, or how the show does it. Anyone know the policy on this? Radagast 11:50, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Overrun

Just a reminder-as I'm typing this todays football game is overrunning about 5-10 minutes, so if you see results, it's probably not vandalism TeckWiz is 12 yrs oldTalkContribs# of Edits 23:05, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Holy crap, that was quick.--HashiriyaGDB 01:12, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Detour Locations

Since usually the Detours are in 2 different places, how do we put it. I just put on the page "Automatic(name of deoutor): Kuwait Camel Racing Club". I don't think it's good thought. Anyone have a suggestion? TeckWiz is 12 yrs oldTalkContribs# of Edits 01:10, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

1st openly lesbian racer?

It says here that season 10 features the first openly lesbian racer. But wasn't Tian of Season 4 a lesbian?QuizzicalBee 18:14, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

When it open, mean everybody know, thats why CBS are wrote down the word "lesbian" in Lauren bio. [1] --Aleenf1 23:56, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Roadblock

Sarah said each member can perform 7 roadblock. So, it could be mean this season have 13 roadblock from usual 12 in the past (except Season 1). Thats why Phil didn't mention. Here is Formula: 1 (leg 1) + 10 (from 10 leg) + 2 (combine in 1 super leg). --Aleenf1 05:28, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Leg 7 Results on Thursday??

Someone went ahead and supposedly put the results from Leg 7 in Mauritius today and the show hasn't even aired yet. How can someone possibly know this? Secondly, the whole entire table was messed up. I reverted it back to the version by Aleenf1 where it was normal and did not have the results from Leg 7. If anyone knows any speculation about this, I was just wondering. I don't see how the results can be posted until the show airs. UWAFanatic05 20:05, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

FWIW, the philimination order for the rest of this race is known via numerous sighting spoilers (no, not repeating here), though the rest of the teams' order was probably a guess or based on a specific sighting spoiler (again, not repeating here). But anything pre-what-has-been-revealed-via-CBS/WRP should be kept off Wiki's page until the appropriate time, so that was the correct edit.Masem 22:55, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
They just testing (or vandal). Whatever they do on the result before show air, just revert. --Aleenf1 05:50, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Spoiler evidence for visit to Ukraine

Here is the link that has photos of the Rodina Mat Statue in the Ukraine [2] Here is the image that appears in the show's credits [3] It's an amazing find by Puddin. Chateau d'If 16:30, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Except that while the images in the credits are generally from said season, there's always been images outside of the regular stops to foil spoilers. Given the fact that in ... 6 weeks from when I write this, what was spoiler info and the like will be useless for the Wiki artcile. Just like we're trying to stop people from saying that Tar11 will be an All Star race (because rumors are flying but no CBS/WRP word to confirm), it's not Wiki materials. Wiki's not a message board, effectively. Masem 17:17, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
  • The episode shown October 29th has a confessional with James speaking and there is a gold topped church in the background. The church has been found to be in Kiev near the Rodina Mat. Chateau d'If 03:57, 30 October 2006 (UTC) ETA This is the place: Kyjevo-Pecherska Lavra
