Untitled[edit]

This page took a while to create, getting in all the tour dates. So I've only completed the 1st leg dates so far, so anyone who wants to help put in the European dates or 2nd North American dates is welcome to. Also to reference articles where the band has discussed the tour and its details. MJB12 18:25, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AUS shows[edit]

Why hasnt anybody added the shows in Australia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.101.158.69 (talk) 05:59, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's not the same tour, it's a new tour, but I've given up trying to fight people over it. The "Black Parade" tour has ended, they're no longer playing as The Black Parade. But people still insist on adding dates like the Australian shows and the European tour in fall 2007. Setlist[edit]

The setlist may change as the tour continues. 2nd night of the tour and it already has a slight change, they added Venom to the MCR set.

Yeah and I went to see them in the Men arena on Saturday and Blood was performed live.

Blood was never performed live. Only a recording was played, and that happened at every show. MJB12 00:03, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The setlist is a bit different for the 2nd leg of the show, Heaven Help Us is in there. But don't change anything until the new setlist is CONFIRMED, and don't delete the old one either. MJB12 00:04, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, so it seems that the encore setlist has been changing a little night-to-night on the second US leg...so we'll leave it as it was for the 1st leg because it didn't really change in those first 30 dates or so...now it's been shorter or a little different every night with Mikey leaving the tour for a short while. Any significant changes can be noted below, but leave the 22 songs the way they are. MJB12 06:10, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bridgeport CT Show[edit]

I added the rumored Bridgeport CT show to the list of 2nd leg tour dates. It hasn't been officially announced, but it does appear on the back of the official tour tee shirt. TeamOverload 15:40, 2 March 2007 (UTC)TeamOverload[reply]

It needs to be removed. They're actually playing in Albany, NY on that day, it was announced yesterday. MJB12 01:11, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rise against setlist[edit]

I think this should be included. I know they played Give it all and the Prayer of the Refugee at some point, but I don't know about the rest of the songs. icelandic hurricane #12 (talk) 15:20, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, it shouldn't be added, because they're not on the whole tour. Muse and Thursday are opening other legs of the show, and it's not a part of the actual "Black Parade" show. MJB12 02:52, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok... icelandic hurricane #12 (talk) 19:50, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Dates?[edit]

The dates on here only go to may 22nd and dates have been announced until July 8th. Do the dates that aren't festivals count as part of the world tour even though they haven't been announced, bc technically it's touring over the world and they're not apart of another tour or the most part.Arson5000

No, the dates that were added for "fourth leg" are NOT a part of this Black Parade Tour. This wiki page pertains specifically to the full Black Parade show, with the two separate sets, elaborate stage, pyro, etc. The Black Parade Tour, as of now, ends on May 22nd. All shows after that are mainly festival shows. If they do the full big show on any of the following headlining dates AFTER May 22nd, then they should be added. MJB12 16:38, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the new dates are part of the Black Parade Tour. On the MCR site the tour dates have the typical TBP Tour picture next to them. TeamOverload 20:27, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Every date since the album was released has been listed on that page. But "The Black Parade World Tour" pertains to HEADLINING shows where this show is performed. A lot of the upcoming dates are festival shows (which is why Edgefest and Bamboozle are noted at the bottom, but not included in the list of dates). If the dates are going to be added, they should be starred like the Germany & France shows, until it is confirmed that they will be the full arena show with theatrics and everything, which is what this Wiki page pertains to). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by MJB12 (talkcontribs) 04:27, 30 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

They performed as The Black Parade at the Bamboozle. They were the headlining band, and they worked it out with the organizers to do the full theatrical show. They said so on an interview on Steven's Untitled Rock Show.Arson5000 12:53, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MJB12 is wrong, the article is about the black parade world tour, every date(except festivals) is part of the black parade world tour therefore they should be added.

Excuse me? I created this page, "The Black Parade World Tour" is in reference to the headlining arena shows where My Chemical Romance performed as "The Black Parade" and then as My Chemical Romance. I did not include the festival shows, Projekt Revolution, etc. because they DID NOT perform as The Black Parade. MJB12 20:56, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Projekt Revolution[edit]

I thought maybe someone should add Projekt Revolution to the next tour space.--Calario freebie 01:42, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There already is a Projekt Revolution page that will list the upcoming dates. This tour ends on May 22nd, no more dates go on this page after that. This only pertains to the big Black Parade Tour where Gee comes out on the gurney, where they play the 2 sets, one as the Black Parade and one as MCR. MJB12 02:54, 17 May 2007 (UTC) sydney tour date - 30th of november entertainment centre 7:40 pm friday![reply]

I went ahead and added the fall 2007 dates because they're doing the "Black Parade" show again. I didn't add the Orono, Maine date because I'm not quite sure exactly what's going on with that show. I didn't add the Bon Jovi shows for obvious reasons. MJB12 20:53, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All dates after Mexico City have been temporarily removed because they announced at the Mexico show they would no longer be performing as The Black Parade. So all the Australia & Europe shows will be a DIFFERENT production and therefore not a part of this specific tour. So whoever messed up the formatting of the page by trying to add in the New Zealand show...it's a different tour.MJB12 05:09, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Read Before Editing![edit]

The Dates after october 7th are not part of the black parade world tour, because they are not playing as the seperate alter ego band "The Black Parade", they may be playing the songs off the album, but not as "The Black Parade" they even said themselves that the mexico date was the last black parade world tour date, so please refrain from editing BringDaPain (talk) 05:00, 5 February 2008 (UTC)BringDaPain[reply]

That's not correct, all of the posters at least for the Melbourne show were "The Black Parade World Tour", and Melbourne was one from November. And stop with this "alter ego" crap. It's costumes. The band never stated anything about an alter ego. That's fan cruft, and doesn't belong on the article. In the Melbourne show, they played all but one song from TBP (which was Sleep) and was the second time they actually performed Blood, rather than having a recording. The format wasn't quite the same as the earlier ones, where everything was the same as the album, and they infiltrated more of their older stuff and played one new song among it all. Anyway, try to ensure you can verify any claims before posting like that again. I've even got one of the billposters around my house here somewhere (probably in a box considering I'm moving). --rm 'w avu 09:52, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeh, look at the claims by the actual band, and if you state that's wrong, then hell, you must know more about them then they themselves doBringDaPain (talk) 15:31, 5 February 2008 (UTC)BringDaPain[reply]

Whoever deleted the dates on the fourth leg pissed me off! It might not has the setlist where they play the Black Parade album from the first track until the last, but it is still The Black Parade Tour! I need the information of the dates, you can't just delete that! That's so ego! Well, find the posters or advertisements in the internet, it's mentioned as THE BLACK PARADE TOUR.! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.137.19.173 (talk) 18:49, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, The Black Parade Tour Not The Black Parade WORLD TOUR!!! So Shut Up. It's Not Part Of The Same Tour, As The actual band stated, the mexico date was the last of the black parade wworld tour, that's why they fucking filmed it 72.220.166.36 (talk) 05:32, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, the poster I have (just found it yesterday while packing) has "world" on it. Performing in Mexico and referring to it as a world tour and in Australia and not calling it a world tour would be somewhat imbecilic and ironic (a sentiment not lost on MCR, but that's not what they were going for). And BringDaPain, you may claim that they've stated this, but where's your citation? Don't claim something from imnotokay.net. That site's so out of date it's not funny. --rm 'w avu 12:31, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was BLACK PARADE WORLD TOUR! Does it matter, with WORLD or NOT? Just add those details AGAIN! Mention whatever you want, whether it is a part of your very own black parade world tour or not, but that is important to have the dates after the mexico shows! tell me your email, ill send you my ticket that clearly says THE BLACK PARADE WORLD TOUR. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.137.19.173 (talk) 13:24, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Easy tiger, I'm on your side (and even if it didn't say world on it, it's just semantics anyway). Now, to those who remioved the details, here's ther reason in short they should be restored: even if they're completely separate (which they're not, but humour me) they're still relevant to the content, context and subject matter of this page, irrespective of the title. --rm 'w avu 13:46, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm with you... it's totally relevant. I think we sould restore it. Anyway, they are coming to Chile on February 24, and in a magazine they name the tour as "My Chemical Romance International Tour" and as "My Chemical Romance world tour", but I think they are wrong. AND in a newspaper they say it's "The Black Parade World Tour", and I think they're right. Sadly in my ticket they don't name the tour... the other dates are relevant, so restore them or add'em in other page, it doesn't matter, but they are important. PS: Today they announced new tour dates, in the official page. Jorge Flag of Chile Moraleh 04:41, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Okay, but their not playing as "The Black Parade" alter ego band anymore though, so that need's to be said, weather or not it's part of the same world tour
In adition, in the official page, in the tour section, it says clearly: "SEE THE BLACK PARADE LIVE AND IN PERSON", over the southamerica dates, so I think it's still The Black Parade World Tour. Jorge Flag of Chile Moraleh 05:07, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Well, if nobody says nothing, I'm gonna restore the dates after Mexico, because four users says that. Jorge Flag of Chile Moraleh Moraleh 00:56, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Okay, but their not playing as "The Black Parade" alter ego band anymore though, so that need's to be said, weather or not it's part of the same world tour —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.166.36 (talk) 01:29, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are you talking about the costumes? Because, yes they are. They wore the costumes to the Melbourne concert, and my friend showed me shots from the Sydney concert and they did there too. --rm 'w avu 03:14, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Arguing with you guys is pointless, you won't even believe anything the band says about themselves, it's like arguing with a little kid —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.166.36 (talk) 15:34, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

hey man, you are a super freaky person! what u mentioned might be right, that the band stated that its not part of the tour, in which, they performed the setlist exactly like from The Black Parade album. but it is a world tour, the black parade world tour. youre super freaky. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fredric fd (talkcontribs) 13:40, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Classy[edit]

Okay, I'm comfortable with saying that this article basically says all it needs to now, but we need to thoroughly tidy up a bunch of the crap and for God's sake, we need to reference and cite sources on everything little thing. Anybody willing to help, or just bicker over intricacies which by comparison don't matter? --rm 'w avu 22:03, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Separate 4th leg[edit]

In the fourth leg there is a very long period with no dates (between 2007 and 2008), which is longer than any other between the other legs, so I think it would be better if we separate that long leg. --Moraleh 21:22, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

well, I think it's a good idea... actually it's a very extense period --200.104.220.28 (talk) 20:33, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Add Vietnam date[edit]

Seems like they performed on January 20, 2008 in Vietnam, though I can't find any source. Anyway, there are a lot of videos from the show, and in an interview I saw Frank Iero saying that knowing new places that they never thought to be at like Vietnam was amazing. --201.215.220.146 (talk) 04:29, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

here's a link. Kerrang magazine says "MCR storm Vietnam" on its 30/01/2008 edition
