I think it would be helpful if the information on historians' criticisms of this book went into a little more detail. Do historians claim that the book actually presents an inaccurate depiction of Hartmann himself? As written it sounds like they do not, but only take issue with the book's presentation of the broader social context of World War II. But the writing in this article is vague enough that I cannot tell if this is what is meant or not. In particular, referring to a book about a specific individual as "ahistorical and misleading" seems a little misleading itself if the problem with the book's history isn't it's presentation of the individual it's about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.6.117.105 (talk) 20:16, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
