The Book of AbrahamThe Book of Abraham (novel) – "The Book of Abraham" is a very well known book of scripture that is rather controversial in Mormonism. There is a page that gets a lot of traffic on the subject at Book of Abraham. I propose we change the name of this article to The Book of Abraham (novel) and then redirect this page to Book of Abraham. I would say that we should rename "Book of Abraham" to "The Book of Abraham", but as long as one redirects to the other I am fine. I know this isn't a scientific data point, but if you google "Book of Abraham" or "The Book of Abraham" you will get millions of pages on the controversy surrounding the Mormon scripture and that entire issue. This page is about an obscure novel. Just doesn't make sense. Descartes1979 (talk) 20:47, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support Surely this is a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, and we can't expect all of our readers to be familiar with guidelines like WP:THE. And while I'm loathe to pursue deletion here since books are a weak area for Wikipedia, I do note that there's absolutely no indication of notability in this article. --BDD (talk) 21:06, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. The phrase "The Book of Abraham" is obviously more commonly used to refer to the Book of Abraham than to this obscure and marginally notable (if that) novel, therefore that topic is primary for this title and this title should redirect to that topic. --B2C 22:52, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
