Royal visit[edit]

Princess Margaret attended an official opening of the town centre in 1967 - http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=44712 Can this not be incorporated into the article? I see no mention at all of 1967 yet according to yet another source (http://www.open2.net/modernity/3_10.htm - "With the completion of the first phase in 1967, the town centre's architect, Geoffrey Copcutt, had given Cumbernauld Britain's first indoor shopping mall.") and no doubt countless others phase 1 of the town centre was completed in 1967 - i.e. it was officially opened. Hopefully someone can use this information to improve the article. --86.23.112.50 (talk) 16:25, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wind tunnels[edit]

This is fatuous: "After only a few years, visitors and owners of businesses within the shopping centre noticed that the walkways were acting as wind tunnels" Acting as wind tunnels would have been noticed almost immediately - the effects in terms of shoppers' actions would have taken longer.→109.146.85.39 (talk) 13:46, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Noting here that I'm having difficulty determining which images fairly represent the structure. Perhaps the current ones do, or perhaps they've been taken from the back or an awkward angle. Just in case these aren't typical images, it hasn't been done on purpose. Inquiries continue. SarahSV (talk) 01:16, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
