– Article moved to The Chair (Aintree Racecourse), other redirects created.

TPH has moved this article from The Chair to The Chair (Grand National), which was mooted at the AfD. I don't actually think this name is sufficiently accurate, it's a fence at Aintree that is there the whole time, and is jumped in races besides the Grand National. How about The Chair (fence)? Disambiguation is there to distinguish ambiguity, not to define. "fence" is adequate for this, simpler and less problematic for the Aintree / Grand National question. Andy Dingley (talk) 22:47, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Chair (Aintree Racecourse) seems most natural and unambiguous. The current title is pretty poor since the fence is used in races other than the Grand National – specifically the Fox Hunters' Chase and Becher Chase – which also makes the Aintree/National question a non-issue. _wjemather^bigissue 22:58, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
