1927 v 1934[edit]

The 1927 version is silent and stars Sojin. It still exists, the 1934 version, called 'The Courage of Charlie Chan' is lost. Paul, in Saudi (talk) 05:45, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Library of Congress silent film database lists the film as lost (no copies). So both 1927 and 1934 appear to be lost. Deanlaw (talk) 22:29, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Character names[edit]

The plot as listed in the 1928 Universal Weekly had the jeweler's son name as Jack, but when I added the plot I retained the name as Robert per the IMDb listing since there was not a second source to verify which was correct. Deanlaw (talk) 22:29, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
