This book does not seem to merit a page. It is not notable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nexus501 (talkcontribs) 21:56, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've never heard the criticism raised in the uncited "Criticism" section; as Karl and I wrote in the book, Karl wrote the sections on book publishing, I wrote the sections on short story publishing. Doctorow (talk) 10:09, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find anything about said criticism in a search. I'mma remove it unless someone has a source . . .? Er, I would've removed it, someone else beat me to it :P 142.162.12.228 (talk) 11:55, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not only is the book not notable, but apparently no one has anything noteworthy to say about it that would warrant a wikipedia article. The information in this stub contains almost nothing which is not self-evident from the Cory Doctorow main page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.230.124.140 (talk) 09:53, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Per the above and considering that this article hasn’t been deleted in the intervening twelve years, I have proposed merging it with Complete Idiot's Guides—or with the target of a proposed merge of that page, Alpha Books. —151.132.206.250 (talk) 15:15, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strong support - I don't even know if there is anything worth merging. No evidence of notability, there is barely even anything making this series of books notable, and that is also being discussed for merging into its publisher. ‡ Єl Cid of Valencia talk 17:53, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • As nom, I would also support a motion to simply delete, if notability cannot be established. —151.132.206.250 (talk) 18:42, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Agrees that no Idiot's Guides merit an individual listing. I would support deletion based on notability. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Synchromatica (talkcontribs) 03:35, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
