New and much-improved article about a well-regarded garage rock band[edit]
This is a new article (not to be confused with the old one on the same topic) is about a well-regarded garage rock band form the 1960s, whose music included proto-punk elements that were ahead of their time (for instance Jimmy Musgrove's vocal in "I'm Gone slide" pre-dates Billie Joe Armstrong vocal style by almost thirty years). This new article, unlike the former, properly demonstrates why they are highly regarded by garage rock enthusiasts, and quotes two noted garage rock authorities who have stated their importance in the genre and is comprehensively written and well-sourced--giving this band, at last, the kind of quality article it deserves.
