“It was historically a rough and dangerous area, populated by Gaelic clans”[edit]

This seems incredibly slanted and ahistorical. Who perceived these Gaelic clans as “rough and dangerous”? British invaders? I wonder if those Gaelic clans would describe those who invaded and occupied their land in more forceful terms.

I propose that this section be removed as it falls well short of the standard expected of a neutral encyclopaedia. Jmcaoat (talk) 19:04, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
