Christmas specials[edit]

Does everyone think that two recently aired Christmas specials should be incorporated into the episode count? Or should it be something like "120 episodes + 2 specials"? Inquiring editors want to know. --SchutteGod (talk) 22:55, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say incoroprate like this - 131 shows including 1 special (total as of 6 January). There was just one Christmas special that they showed on two days. Dean B (talk) 08:41, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Debuted to less than stellar ratings?[edit]

Is there a more encyclopedic way to phrase that in the reception section? 22:23, 29 December 2011 (UTC)76.226.112.252 (talk) 22:23, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Of what?[edit]

The very first sentence is missing something important:

"...a rotating panel of [insert noun here] who discuss..."

I would probably say "guests", but I don't know that such covers it fully (nor do I want to quote the Fox press release later in the article) so I'll leave it up to whoever wrote it.

A rotating panel of ... hosts? ... of commentators? Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 06:43, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

NOT A FORUM![edit]

I do believe there are a couple of users out there who need to read the first instruction of this talk page.

"This is not a forum for general discussion of the article's subject."

Some aren't even brave enough to sign their names.

I have thus decided on my own that their comments should be removed.

I think Jesse is really cute. Do you agree? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:6C65:747F:CD3F:75C2:DF8D:80CD:23DD (talk) 01:19, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Return of Bob Beckel - Status of Juan Williams[edit]

According to a recent news story, link, Bob Beckel has returned to The Five. From viewings, and based on the context of the article, it seems like Mr. Beckel is (...kind of?) taking over for Juan Williams spot. Can someone please confirm whether or not this has been covered either on air, or through other articles? Additionally, edits to the article will be nessacary if this is the case. News stations are rarely fourth coming with information of who is working where, and how often they'll be on camera; I can't imagine them putting out a great deal of information on Juan's future there.

Personally, I'd be disappointed if Juan is now going to rarely be featured on the show. Although some of his opinions did not line up with a lot of the other co-hosts on the show, I felt that it really did live up to the promise of "fair and balanced coverage" that the network claims, and that Juan's presence highlighted some of the vastly different opinions that exist in the political realm, even if they were extremely unpopular at Fox News. Stop revising the Reception section to write that Salon.com is "left-wing"[edit]

Salon.com's own wikipedia entry describes the site as "having a progressive and liberal viewpoint." If Salon.com is a left-wing publication, then what language would that leave you with to describe a Marxist newsletter? Stop doing it, it's inaccurate.11bkway11 (talk) 22:55, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It is a left wing publication. Why won’t you bring your beef to all the Wikipedia pages that label every single European political party that puts its national first as “far-right”. It’s a two way street. Salon is “far left” if the likes of AfD are “Far right”

Progressive/Liberal is left wing/far left. Fyunck(click) (talk) 09:33, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect of "Jessica Tarlov" to this page[edit]

Jessica Tarlov is notable enough for an article to be created about her. It is unnecessary for there still to be a redirect. LudditeOne (talk) 21:06, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
