Perhaps some mention should be made of the recording process here. From my memory, it's taken directly from a piano roll performed 4-handed by George and Ira themselves, then (much later, obv.) transcribed to a MIDI player piano, and recorded for this album. I believe I read this from the liner notes from the original CD. Could have also been used in episode 2 of Ken Burns' "The Roosevelts" at about 01:11:50. (It's definitely the song, credited as performed by George Gershwin, so it's from the piano roll—just not sure it's the same recording.)O0drogue0o (talk) 15:40, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
