Stuff[edit]

Mr. C

I think the problem of fiona's stepfather missing but she is a poopdeck and retarded and them not finding the suger bowl will play a role in the next book. Because do you think he would just make us wonder what what is so important about the bowl and where and what her stepfather was doing?

Also, we need to work on who was in that freaky question mark/comma submarine. It can't be someone good, because Cpt. Widdershins is scared of it, but it can't be on Count Olaf's side either, because Olaf's scared of it too. (LTT)

In the article titled Fiona it says that Klaus and Fiona have sex, I don't remember that!

Its probably vandalism.--CyberGhostface 11:20, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Grimgrotto.jpg[edit]

Image:Grimgrotto.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:47, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:The grim grotto uk.jpg[edit]

The image Image:The grim grotto uk.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --09:51, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Summary[edit]

I've removed the plot summary from this article - it's overly detailed, unsourced, and a lot of original research. I'd like to hear opinions as to why it should be kept. TNXMan 11:44, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nearly all plot summaries in articles are unsourced because they come from the book. We could at least have a notice saying that it contains a plot summary too overly detailed. I'm doing that. --Glimmer721 talk 16:31, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just because nearly all articles have overly detailed summaries doesn't mean this one should. Let's try to replace it with reliably sourced info instead of the Cliff's Notes version of the book. TNXMan 17:16, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't say all articles have overly detailed plot summaries. Most of the ASUE articles have no sources and long summaries. Why are you arguing this one?? --Glimmer721 talk 20:00, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
