The article says it was published in 1963 by Harcourt, Brace & World. However, it was first published in 1954. [1] (scroll down to the copyright info). According to this source [2], the 1954 edition was published by New American Library. Oornery (talk) 23:26, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So, the novel wasn't published in 1954. Certain chapters appeared in the New Yorker and various publications, which is why the copyright date goes back to 1954. The abebooks source isn't reliable— especially because it claims it's the thirteenth edition; it's just repeating the copyright date of chapters published earlier..
