Assessment[edit]

Upon creating this article, I also took the liberty of assessing its quality as "stub" class (as per the criteria listed on both project's pages). bwmcmaste (talk) 22:41, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The entire plot written for this article reflects the Discovery Channel special from 2002 and does not reflect the 2011/2013 film. This needs to be entirely stripped from the article until an actual plot can be written from the film itself when available. The recently released preview has shown that some extreme liberties have been taken with the story as interpreted in the special including, but not limited to, a crucial subplot about slavery and the underground railroad that did not exist in the special and subsequently is not reflected in the article at present.
