A quick look for reliable sources to establish the notability of the book wasn't encouraging. The article will need to meet Wikipedia:Notability (books) at some point. All I came across were places to buy copies. --Rocksanddirt (talk) 00:49, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The book satisfies Criteria 1 and 5 of Wikipedia:Notability (books). In the article on Gurdjieff his other books have Wikipedia articles. There are several books that refer to The Herald of Coming Good and hopefully more references will be added in due course. Wikifarzin (talk) 01:11, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article deserves to remain in Wikipedia as this book is a key to understanding other works by Gurdjieff. This was the first book of his that was published. Recent books have suggested a pivotal nature for Herald - one such book is John Henderson's Hidden Meanings and Picture Form language in the in the Writings of G.I. Gurdjieff , 2007.

By keeping the article alive others will in time have a chance to expand it to show its relevance to the full body of the Fourth Way literature.
