Issues needing to be addressed[edit]

There are few of the references that have some problems that need to be addressed:

  • #16: The link that corresponds to the article written by Jessica Grover links to something written by another author. Please find the correct link.
  • #44: The website appears to be the author's self-published website, which is generally not suitable for Wikipedia. Please find another source if you want to keep the quote.
    • Would this qualify as a reliable source [1]?
That looks to be an acceptable source, go ahead and put it up. --Tea with toast (話) 22:33, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I fixed it--12george1 (talk) 01:44, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • #75: Please list the work (website) of the article you are referencing.

I'm nearly finished with my review of the article. Once the above issues have been resolved, I will return to give my final review. Happy editing! --Tea with toast (話) 04:03, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: Could this be used for ref #44, with an altered quote? Glimmer721 talk 22:07, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Additional suggestions for improvement[edit]

While I am satisfied that this article meets the requirements for GA status, there are a few things that I think can be improved upon, especially if anyone intends to nominate this article for Featured Status.

  1. The "Inspiration and origins" section could probably be expanded if more resources can be found and split into 2 paragraphs.
  2. The "Themes" section could probably use some more clarification, especially the second paragraph that mentions themes but does not give definite examples.
  3. The "Cover" section doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the article and should probably be removed unless it is changed. Right now I feel it is something that belongs more in The Hunger Games trilogy article since it is a theme for all 3 books. This article should be mostly about the book and so if you're describing about the cover, you should be mentioning the cover artist and perhaps put in other things, like how the author had envisioned the cover to look like.
  4. The "Critical Reception" section could probably use some better organization.
