Plot hole timeline[edit]

Supposedly this is set during the Irish War of Independence which occured from 1919-1921; yet the date is 1922 was the begining of the Irish Civil War!

Yes, if it's based on the book it seems to take place in the aftermath of the Irish Civil War (maybe 1924 or so), but certainly way after the Anglo-Irish War. (I haven't seen the movie) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.255.203.192 (talk) 16:41, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
