Plot summary[edit]

The plot summary that I wrote here is entirely original work. I tried not to convey anything that was not literally written in the original. Blue Rasberry 21:31, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Release date problem[edit]

This article says the film will be released in the 2013 holiday season. All articles talking about the upcoming Pixar film say that it will be released in the summer of 2013. Which film will more likely be pushed back to the summer of 2014?? (This question's answer should be known by this time next year.) Georgia guy (talk) 16:53, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Holiday actually means November-December time-frame, so KotE will clash with Pixar's untitled film, which is set to release on November 27, 2013. Setting a fixed date for a Pixar's film, it looks like that KotE will be probably pushed back.--Carniolus (talk) 11:08, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Now there are 2 Pixar films scheduled for the fall of 2013 and the summer of 2014. So this film will probably have a fall 2014 release. Georgia guy (talk) 23:04, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Movie section[edit]

With current knowledge, it is very unlikely that the movie will be released in the near future because there hasn't been any recent news about this movie since any of the confirmed films after Frozen have been released. Any thoughts?? Georgia guy (talk) 21:26, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Georgia guy Wikipedia just reports what other sources say. If there is no news then there is nothing to add, right? Blue Rasberry (talk) 23:13, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Now, I have a big concern that people will think that it's official that this film is still in production and that we haven't reached its release date. Recent sources reveal Disney's schedule all the way to the spring of 2018, and they don't include this movie. Thus, I can clearly conclude that this movie will very unlikely be released before the summer of 2018, and it's only 2014. Georgia guy (talk) 23:33, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Georgia guy This is a problem inherent in Wikipedia. If there is no news coverage of a previously announced project then the historical precedent is that no one makes conclusions for the reader, and the reader just thinks what they like based on the available published information. Right now at least the announcements are dated in the article, so people can at least see when the last available news was published. Thoughts? What more could be done?
