Proposed deletion[edit]

The article was tagged with a nomination for deletion hatnote on 30th January 2019 by user Dean12065 for the reason that the "Band is too obscure to have a Wikipedia article. No albums or singles have charted." I have removed the hatnote because actually the band had one single that reached the Top 10 of the UK indie charts in 1997. Furthermore, the band received coverage in a number of music magazines in 1999, including Kerrang! and Front, who both nominated their album Shakedown as "Album of the Month". Although The Kynd were not a big band by any means, they did have a minor level of commercial success and coverage in the mainstream music press in the late '90s, plus their connections to Andy Bell of Ride and Oasis increases their notability too. --Kohoutek1138 (talk) 14:09, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
