[Untitled][edit]

I have re-organised the paragraphs a bit, including bringing the contributors together under a heading. There are still two groups: big names (Russell, Woolf, Auden, Larkin etc), and regular contributors (Cole, Hattersley, Fantoni). I have left out Brian Ford, who does not fit into either.

I also left out the sentence "At its peak the Listener, and its stable-mate the Radio Times, was purchased by many, if not most, British families." I simply can't believe that it is true of the Listener, which must always have been too highbrow to appeal to more than a small percentage of the population. But do restore it if I am wrong. Good stuff, it seems much improved as a result. Hv (talk) 01:17, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
