Fair use rationale for Image:Lords Midnight.gif[edit]

Image:Lords Midnight.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

External Links[edit]

The Moby games link on the bottom of this page is to the wrong game. It is of the midnight saga but is not the same title. If anything it should be considered a sequel as it follows events after both Lords of Midnight and Doomdark's revenge, but before the unreleased Eye of the Moon. If used it should correctly labelled Lords of Midnight:The Citadel Icemarkuk (talk) 20:24, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the suspect link, the redundant and confusing subheader and added a sentence to sequels about The Citadel. That should do for now. Queex (talk) 21:42, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Novelization[edit]

Mike makes some mention of the prize in my Interview/Article that was published in Retro Gamer copy here - http://www.icemark.com/tower/retrogamer/ Icemarkuk (talk) 22:11, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the link. Citing that article will significantly improve the article. (If I ever get round to it :>) Marasmusine (talk) 22:22, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Elite is not an RPG[edit]

"The Lords of Midnight is often named with Elite as among the top role playing games of the 1980s."

By whom? Also, Elite isn't an RPG. 80.99.175.158 (talk) 13:20, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
