Plutarch's Spartan sayings[edit]

It seems like an adaptation of the pay-off line in the older fable. If we could find a source confirming such a claim, it would be worth noting it as evidence of the fable's influence. Well spotted! Sweetpool50 (talk) 16:41, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
