New novel page, split from film page[edit]

I split this page for the novel off from the film page (The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit), since it is the normal practice to have separate articles for a bestselling book and for the film based on the book. Feel free to add improvements, citations etc. (or maybe I can do some more later) but please keep this page about the book, and use the film page for the film. Plot error[edit]

Article currently reads in part Tom's adulterous behavior during the war resulted in a son conceived in Italy, whose mother suddenly contacts him to seek monetary support at a most inconvenient time. That's not quite true in the book, although it may be the plot in the film. In the book the contact is instigated by Tom and by a chance conversation he has with someone who knows his wartime mistress. Andrewa (talk) 21:23, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
