Deleted the Citadel/Melvin connection claim[edit]

There was a sentence about how Citadel and Melvin "sponsor" the Motley Fool. Presumably, this was added by enthusiasts of shares in GameStop, who believe they are fighting the aforementioned hedge funds are are probably upset that Motley Fool sometimes offers negative coverage to the stock.

First, the source provided does not say that Citadel or Melvin sponsor MF, or explain what sponsorship would consist in since MF is a private company.

Second, my understanding of the substance of this claim makes it sound very tenuous and non-notable. Basically, you can pay Motley Fool to manage your wealth for you, and they use Interactive Brokers. IBKR, IB's free service, has a pay-for-order-flow funding model. And Citadel is the market maker that provides them with liquidity and pays them for the order flow. So MF is "connected" to Citadel only in the vaguest sense that it has some paid service that uses a trading platform that also has business dealings with Citadel.
