Notability[edit]

This is a notable short story that is used as a teaching tool in high schools around the country. Just because you never head of it doesn't mean it is not notable.

Article guidelines mean that some notability does need to be demonstrated. Currently no ref or support is offered. Span (talk) 23:34, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The references to page numbers throughout this article appear to be incorrect. None of the footnotes list any pages numbered 231, 232, 233 or 234. What source is being used to come up with the page numbers in the main text? Presumably that source should be listed in "References" as well.... Note also that the text appears to need some cleaning up: for example "Westside" Story should be "West Side" Story. I will leave it to the person who cleans up the page numbers and references to also clean up the missing capitalization such as already described as well as on the words "Myth", "Met" and "Girl" in the essay title. 2603:7000:7506:9400:E5A2:2765:4004:747E (talk) 19:50, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
