Same band?[edit]

This is the same band as the Wailers Band (from 1974), wrongly called here "Original Wailers". This page was only and recently created to promote The Wailers for their 2009 US tour, for which they chose to call themselves "the original" (debatable)...

"The Original Wailers" and "The Wailers" are in fact not the "same" band and do not need to be merged or placed together. The Original Wailers were formed in September of 2008 with the combined efforts of Junior Marvin, Al Anderson, and Earl Lindo (original touring members of Bob Marley's Wailers). The Wailers, on the other hand, are a totally different band under the Leadership of Aston "Family Man" Barrett. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.201.177.192 (talk) 21:17, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tone[edit]

The present article, irrespective of the 'originality' of the band, suffers badly from opinionated fancruft eg. " T.O.W carries forward the true spirit and realities of the original music and message of “One Love”." Please add more references and less adulation. Thanks,

I agree and I have removed this piece as it was subjective vs factual information. (talk) 05:56, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Matthew[reply]

Music Lesson[edit]

I added the "Music Lesson" single to this article as it was credited to 'The Original Wailers', but now I'm having doubts about whether it's the same 'Original Wailers'. Anyone know? --Michig (talk) 13:03, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it - appears to be a remix of an old Wailers track and nothing to do with this band. --Michig (talk) 13:54, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
