Richard Edward Shaffer, “A History of the Phoenix Boys Choir, 1947-1989.” D.M.A. Dissertation, Arizona State University, 1992. [Note: I, Jere T. Humphreys, was a professor of music at ASU and served as chair of Richard Shaffer’s doctoral committee and was also his dissertation advisor. The dissertation is a good piece of work that should be cited in this Wikipedia article on the Phoenix Boys Choir. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8800:3a86:8600:bc91:3fdc:3675:8107 (talkcontribs) 06:51, December 7, 2021 (UTC)

What information do you suggest we cite to this? And please read WP:SCHOLARSHIP. Using dissertations as references can be problematic. Meters (talk) 07:04, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
