Merge proposal[edit]

It is weird that this production certification is presented as an "award". The article does not yet include any significant detail about how the industry or public has reacted to it (although they seem to have gotten enough buy-in to expand from film to include TV shows). After reading this article it is all very vague, their methodology is opaque and "subject to change".

In 2019 the Hollywood Reporter wrote: "few people outside of the industry have yet to hear about something like the ReFrame Stamp for Television (and Movies)" [1]

There have been plenty of announcements about films getting the ReFrame Stamp but not much analysis that I can find. This article could really do with more significant coverage from reliable independent sources. -- 109.76.205.175 (talk) 14:48, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This article feels more than a little redundant, repeating a lot of what is already in the ReFrame article. It might be better to clearly make this is a list article for all the films that received the certification or to just merge the two articles together. -- 109.76.205.175 (talk) 14:57, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Anyone? It still is not clear this certification/award is has been noticed outside Hollywood. More than one article seems unnecessary to me but I'd still appreciate a second opinion. I guess I should take it to WP:MOSFILM which I'll probably do sooner or later. -- 109.79.68.165 (talk) 15:01, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think that the current structure works, except that ReFrame should be acknowledge in the lede; the list is long, and there are details about the submission process which are best kept here (so, converting exclusively to a list wouldn't be straightforward). This is one of the charity's projects, and probably warrants a separate page. Klbrain (talk) 12:34, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Closing, ensuring that there is better linking rather than a merge. Klbrain (talk) 10:15, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I remain highly skeptical of this certification masquerading as an "award" and think it barely merits one page let alone two but I appreciate someone actually taking time to think about it and comment on the matter, so thanks for that. -- 109.78.198.42 (talk) 17:38, 24 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
