Conflict of Interest[edit]

Why is this article being flagged as an advertisement with conflict of interest? It is inaccurate and I have tried so many different edits - none of them have worked.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Grannysmith5w (talkcontribs)

I'll look at it in a while. Do you have a conflict of interest here, though? Are you related to the magazine? m.o.p 21:30, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, I am not affiliated to the magazine at all, which is what puzzles me most about the message I'm getting...your help is much appreciated. Grannysmith5w (talk) 21:56, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The message wasn't directed towards you, so don't worry. I'll go through the article later to fix it up; I'm in class right now. Cheers, m.o.p 22:08, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great, thank you so, so much! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Grannysmith5w (talkcontribs) 22:42, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, cleaned it up a bit; still some work to do, though. Mainly, we need more sources. Also, having the company logo could help spice it up... m.o.p 02:32, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:PROMO and WP:COI violations[edit]

Editors with a conflict of interest in regard to the subject of this article are warned that Wikipedia is not a promotional medium and that editing with a conflict of interest can easily lead to a violation of our policy that Wikipedia must be written from a neutral point of view. My examination of this article has indicated rampant promotionalism and almost certainly COI violations, so all editors connected with The Read Deal are warned not to edit this article directly, but to make suggestions here on the talk page, which will be implemented by other editors if they agree with them. Promotional edits and violation of the COI policy will be removed from the article. BMK (talk) 21:33, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
