Contested deletion[edit]
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the Ries Brothers have had significant coverage in reliable sources, including major newspapers in New Jersey and Florida, in addition to a long segment about them on Fox News. They have won awards and have toured with Chicago and opened for major bands such as Daughtry, REO Speedwagon, Los Lonely Boys, Little River Band, Edgar Winter Group, Firefall, The Family Stone, and Rick Derringer. They were invited to perform at the 2014 Van's Warped Tour and Clearwater Jazz Holiday, as well as played other nationally known concert venues. In addition, when writing it is better to collect information from reliable sources prospectively than to rely upon later articles further from the events. If not notable as musicians yet, they certainly meet the requirements as individuals based on coverage in reliable sources. I can rewrite them up that way, but the band format fits better.
