Nice try... But no.[edit]

Hi, first of all, it's not the first Filipino film to be released commercially in the United States as early (60's-80's) films from the Philippines had been released by major distribution outfits like Warner Bros. It is also noteworthy that Star Cinema had been releasing it's films in the American market for years now (American Adobo, Goodbye America). Second, 25 theatres does not indicate a wide release (rather a limited theatrical release). Third, the reference cited on "The first Filipino film to be commercially released in the United States and Canada" was quoted from Annette Gozon-Abrogar and what's more, it comes from unreliable source.Good job.
