Opinion of the film[edit]

According to previous edits of this article, Leslie Charteris did not like this film, and was also upset with RKO's handling of the character. I have removed this unsourced statement as the definitive history of The Saint by Burl Barer states otherwise, that Charteris felt this was the best RKO film. If he had concerns about RKO's overall handling of the character, this information belongs in other articles anyway. 23skidoo 18:42, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
