Uncited material[edit]

There are a few things about British export tv serials that you just learn as a Wikipedian:

  • There are going to be a lot of intense edits when a new article appears.
  • The fans of these serials believe they know every nuance of every episode (ie. 'he wore this tie to reflect his lost puppy, etc.'), and their self-worth is tied into this belief quite strongly.
  • The will fight to the death any challenge to their deeply held convictions regarding the characters of the serials.
  • Edit wars about these sorts of serials are second only to nationalism debates in terms of length, obstinacy, and essential lameness.

I've removed on three separate occasions uncited and/or unconnected material from the article. I imagine it won't be the last time I do so, but it might be helpful for other contributors to understand that if they do not tie their additions to reliable sources, the time they spent crafting those statements will be removed. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 14:45, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
