I changed 'gemology institute' to 'Gemmological Institute of Colombo' as that is what is mentioned in reference [4] (I corrected that too by looking online for the exact name. There is also a Lanka Gemmological Institute.)

The same reference says that the next largest star sapphire, present whereabouts unknown, is 1395 carats, whereas the article says that the Black Star of Queensland was the previous largest 'gem-quality' at 733 carats. Is there a contradiction here or not? I don't know whether the 1395-carat stone was 'gem-quality'. Can anyone help? PhilUK (talk) 16:42, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

1395 carat gemstone seems to me "not sure" news or it should be normal sapphire, not star sapphire like this. --AntanO 17:17, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
