Such a curious device without a photo? --ToastieIL 07:20, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear how the section on "Philco HMD" is connected to the rest of the article and most importantly the "sword of damocles" Joe Detroit (talk) 19:39, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

About this part : "The unit was partially see-through, so the users were not completely cut off from their surroundings.[3] This translucence combined with the other features in their infancy is why the system is often cited as a precursor to augmented reality technology as well."

If the user see the real world AND the virtual world in front of his eyes, is it a kind of Mixed Reality ? I don't think there were any kind of occlusion so maybe it's more AR than MR. The thing is that the article is called The Sword of Damocles (virtual reality). But if you can see the real world, it's not VR. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:CB08:104:C800:D56F:AA0A:6E5:C291 (talk) 08:55, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
