External links section...[edit]

I would like to delete the external link, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) On Travel Insurance, from this article. St. Paul Travelers (SPT) does not offer travel insurance, so besides being helpful for someone searching insurance in general it does not pertain to SPT. Any objections? About this Entire Page[edit]

I think this entire page should not be here! At least not under the name "travelers insurance." This is a specific company, and is pretty much an advertisement, especially when filled under "travelers insurace" and not under the company name. However I don't know how to change it, so I hope someone else who reads this will. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.54.241.173 (talk) 19:32, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another advertisement[edit]

In mid-June of 2006, Travelers Ins. launched 2 new ads on television; the one called "The Big Fight", the other called "The Bridge". There is mention of these ads here, here, and, well, here. "The Bridge" can be watched here. The reason I bring it up is because, although the Bridge ad is in Czech, the scene is reminiscent of Leonardo da Vinci's dreams of flight, especially as portrayed in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Concerning Flight". If more information about this can be ferreted out, perhaps this should be added to Cultural depictions of Leonardo da Vinci as well. Thoughts? Tomertalk 03:36, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Emmy vs Clio[edit]

It says that the Traveler's snowball commercial was nominated for an Emmy. Emmy's are the academy award for for television shows, not commercials. I think it is supposed to say a Clio Award. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.125.45.10 (talk) 14:25, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dow Jones and Fortune[edit]

The introduction (lede) now says that it will join the Dow on June 1 (today) but the body says June 8th (next Monday). Which is it? And if it's of any use, Citigroup was no. 12 on the 2009 Fortune 500 (No. 1 in New York City and New York state, while Travelers was no. 16 in New York City and no. 18 in New York state.) —— Shakescene (talk) 14:03, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It was announced on June 1 and will take effect on June 8.Trey (talk) 19:19, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lawsuit vs NFL[edit]

Should we mention the lawsuit that Travelers filed against the NFL for failing to protect against concussions? [1][2] ZappaOMati 03:19, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Updating source list[edit]

Several of the citations here are no longer active, with no straightforward way to recover the broken links. However, all the information is complemented by active sources, so would recommend deleting the following inactive sources (as of 12/28/16) to clean up the page:
