The Troubles finished a long time ago[edit]

Please provide evidence that any references consider the Troubles to be still ongoing in 2009/2010 and that these incidents were part of it. 2005 is more possible, but you'd still need a reference saying the CIRA incident was part of the Troubles. WP:BURDEN says you need to provide the reference for these incidents being part of the Troubles. FDW777 (talk) 16:49, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My edit summary said "Troubles related", so please quote me accurately. And yes the CIRA incident's are Troubles related even if they did not happen in the traditional timeframe of the Troubles. There is an argument to be made that post-Troubles related incidents should be included even in a sub-section of their own. Though such a proposal will need to be raised at the Troubles WikiProject. This article is called The Troubles in Ardoyne. Not The Troubles and incidents an editor claims are related in Ardoyne. It's a straightforward policy violation, involving WP:V (since there are no references claiming these incidents were part of the Troubles) and WP:SYN.
