The problem with BAD history[edit]

This is one of the worst docudramas I've ever seen. Almost as bad as Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter when it comes to historical accuracy. I believe this should be explained in detail.Ericl (talk) 16:59, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia isn't a platform for opinion or advocacy. All articles need to be written from a neutral point of view. Eric is correct....there are too many historical inaccuracies. I understand Wikipedia's philosophy of writing articles from a "neutral point of view", but, historical accuracy is not a "point of view"...it's based on facts and the truth. This page is being hijacked in an attempt to cover up the inaccuracies in the film. Apparently merely citing "facts" stated in The World Wars is considered to be non-neutral. I agree that this is not the place for review or criticism, but if historical inaccuracies cannot be noted, then the idea of Wikipedia as a reference for factual information is laughable. Whatever historical inaccuracies may be in the film can't be identified using original research and they can't rely on personal judgment WP:OR. Citing the film itself isn't enough. Reliable third party sources must be referenced WP:RS. Also, any inaccuracies should not be identified in the main page summary section. They belong in a separate section. There should be a criticism section. As with most, if not all, of the History Channel "documentaries", the emphasis is on entertainment, giving Germans a bad rap, and conspiracy theories. Historical accuracy is of no interest to the makers. I exaggerate, but only slightly. This may be personal opinion, but it is shared by many, and the article ought to include some reference to criticism or controversy.Royalcourtier (talk) 05:54, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Adjusted length needed[edit]

Paragraph 1 says the 3 parts originally in May last 6 hours together. The June extended version is not given a specific length. Does anyone know how much longer each episode is? I think it would be worthwhile to mention this detail. Are they all the same lengths or do they differ?
