Coverage[edit]

On 3 December 2009 Clifflandis replaced the history of the coverage of phyla in The Zoological Record with the 2007 phyla listing, which is quite different. The historical listing gave a sense of the growth of science, while the 2007 listing is merely a snapshot, and is replicative of the material in the article Phylum. Between the two, I would favor putting Coverage as a subset of the History section. --Bejnar (talk) 05:32, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bejnar. The Bridson article lists some of the development dates of the ZR's sections, but they are presented in a rather confusing format (and only up to 1968). I can go back and put in the historical phyla titles, but I'll need to brainstorm a better way of presenting the information so that it is easily understood and so that it doesn't take up too much space. I just got some more articles on the history of the ZR through interlibrary loan, so I should be able to update the content in the next few days. -- Clifflandis (talk) 13:52, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
