Romanian-born?[edit]

I'm puzzled about Theodor Gaster's birthplace. As I understand it, he was the son of Moses Gaster, who was indeed born in Romania, but who came to England in 1885, married in England and became a naturalised British citzen in 1893. He may have returned to Romania for visits, but never resided there again. This would suggest that Theodor, born 1906, was unambiguously British in birthplace, legal nationality and schooling. Can anyone clarify?SamuelTheGhost (talk) 09:38, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've now become sure that this was an error, so I've corrected it.SamuelTheGhost (talk) 12:42, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Encyclopedia of Religion[edit]

The biographical section of this article is extremely close in language to the article on Gaster in The Encyclopedia of Religion -- it's essentially plagiarism. It should be rewritten from multiple sources so that it has some intellectual independence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.96.120.167 (talk) 13:42, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
