Untitled[edit]

The pages Thirumandhamkunnu and Thirumanthamkunnu Temple could be merged. Essentially, Thiru-Mandham-Kunnu means Holy-Madha-Hillock in Malayalam. Named after the venerable Mandhathavu Maharshi. Essentially the entire hillock is covered by the temple, hence there would be no difference. I would suggest we have the page "Thirumandhamkunnu" as it is easier to link to than with the Temple. The spelling with the 'dh' instead of the 'th' may be preferred as it is closer to the Malayalam pronunciation. This spelling can also be seen in the external links.

  • Thirumanthamkunnu is the temple's name. It is not the place name. Angadippuram is the place and the temple is aka Angadippuram temple.

Links and text quality[edit]

The links in this article do not connect. I suspect all are dead links, though I flagged only one as dead.

Text quality is poor, difficult to understand. Wording seems completely “in-universe”, meaning one must already know the lore to follow the text. Plainer language will greatly improve the article, especially for people not already familiar with this Hindu temple. Some basics, like when was the temple built, are not mentioned, even by century of construction. The only dates are for artwork added in the 20th century. - - Prairieplant (talk) 17:51, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of article[edit]

I can find very few references to this temple. The only reliable, non-SPS I could find were a few articles from March 2023 about a controversy over the color that the temple was painted.[1] The rest of the sources on Google appear to be either tourism websites or travel blogs. Google Scholar turns up one Bachelor's degree thesis that discusses the Temple.[2] There are no references to the Temple on WP:WIKILIB. If this is a notable temple, reliable sources are likely to be in Malayalam.
