Proximity of Wroxeter and High Ercall[edit]
After a Googlemap check I have changed the description (Descendants section) of the proximity of Wroxeter to High Ercall Hall from north east (not east) of Wroxeter and 'in sight of (not 'next to') the Wrekin'. The village of Wroxeter, High Ercall village (in whose centre the Hall stands) and the Wrekin Hill are more distant from each other than the original description suggested.Cloptonson (talk) 12:54, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
Missing word (subsection Fall from favour?)[edit]
I suspect there is a word missing in the last sentence of this passage. It refers to a time scale but is it days, weeks, months, years? Please check:
Sir William Portman succeeded Bromley as chief justice on 11 June 1555. The exact date, even the year, of Bromley's death was not known when the DNB account of his life was written, leaving the impression that the Queen's displeasure might have led to his disgrace and dismissal. However, recent sources concur in dating his about four [ ] before Portman's succession, making this supposition unnecessary. Cloptonson (talk) 08:57, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
