  • Biographical information can be confirmed in front pages of 'The Secret Key To Heaven' and 'Precious Remedies Against Satan's Devices' both published in modern editions by Banner of Truth Trust of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. There is no copyright listed in my copy of 'Precious Remedies...'. Information is also supported by the biography at the monergism.com link. Thomas Brooks was a signficant Christian minister during the 17th century who preached to the English Parliament on at least two occasions. The works cited continue to be in-print and available for purchase. Itohacs 02:54, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

  • The name, Thomas Brooks, has appeared on Wikipedia at List of Puritans for at least several months but with no corresponding article. Brooks wrote a large volume of material and several of his books are still in print including a the six volume hardcover set, The Works of Thomas Brooks, published by Banner of Truth. - Itohacs 21:55, 13 May 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Itohacs (talkcontribs)
  • It's been four days since the last edit (mine) and no one else has edited. I plan to remove the "under construction" tag soon.Itohacs 11:25, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
  • References have been added. Grosart's Memoir of Thomas Brooks from the 1860's in his Works of Thomas Brooks is the earliest know source of the biographical material in the article; much or all of Grosart's material was derived from the writings of Thomas Brooks himself who died in 1680. I plan to remove the "unreferenced" tag soon.Itohacs 11:25, 16 May 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Itohacs (talkcontribs)
